How is CPM aligned to the Standards for Mathematical Practice? Is there a document that shows the alignment between CPM and the CCSS standards for mathematical practice (SMP)?

The problem-based lessons in CPM are designed to actively engage students in the Standards for Mathematical Practices (SMPs) on a daily basis.

The notes for each lesson in the Teacher Editions state the Mathematical Practice elements of the lesson, and the “Suggested Lesson Activity” sections discuss how teachers can implement the lessons, giving suggestions for sample questions to use in student-teacher interactions that will foster the student’s development with the SMPs.

The documents that show the alignment between the CPM curriculum and the Standards for Mathematical Practice are located in the Teacher Section under Standards Practices and the Correlations Tab within each Core Connections eBook (CC1-PreCalc 3rd Ed.).
